Michele Reali (Pavia, Italy – 2000) is characterised by a polyedric interpretative style, fierce yet delicate, personal yet transparent, aiming at enhancing the spirit of the composition and the composer. He nurtures deep passion in researching biographies, reading manuscripts and grasping with first hand ideas and sensitivities that populate the music he plays.
Currently based in Amsterdam, Michele started playing guitar at 8 years old, attracted to the instrument by the singing quality of its sound, its depth, complexity, and flexibility. In 2022 he graduated from his Bachelor’s at “Conservatorio Antonio Buzzolla” with Cum laude and honorous mention, and completed his Master’s in 2024 at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Gabriel Bianco.
Michele’s playing style stands out for his bright sight on harmonic structures, and his delicate phrasing. He performed in many venues across Europe, and already won several prizes in international competitions. Among others:

- 3rd Prize at Sarajevo International Guitar Competition 2025
- Finalist at Festival de Guitare de Paris 2024
- Finalist at Kutna Hora International Guitar Competition 2024
Michele published his first EP with Dot Guitar, recording music by Sergio Assad for solo guitar. He also appears in the album “Forbidden Music Regained 2023” with a live recording of “Trio Voor Fluit, Altviool En Gitaar” by Nico Richter.
Since 2025 Michele is classical guitar teacher at the Muziekpakhuis of Amsterdam.
